In 1947 a small patrol boat was wrecked just off the Ramsgate coast, this vessel is now an intregal part of the decor of the Crayfish Inn.  The Crayfish Inn became famous for it’s seafood and the unique nautical atmosphere in and around the restaurant.  The Crayfish Inn still maintain the same standard and is one of the main attractions in Ramsgate on the Natal South Coast.
